Why Genesis Revelation?
Rev 12:17 "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
Rom 9:27 "Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:"
What is a remnant? It’s a leftover, what remains after most of something is gone. Those of us who sew or work with fabrics are familiar with purchasing remnants. A remnant is the last bit of fabric on the bolt. It is important to note that a remnant is the SAME as all the fabric that made up the bolt.
In this case, a remnant is what remains of those who are the true sons and daughters of God, those"which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
So to find out what that remnant is, what those who are singled out in the last days of time, we can look back at the beginning of time. What did God’s faithful believe at the beginning, what was their character? As we see the true Church in the book of Genesis, we can more readily identify what God’s true Church will be like at the end of time.
